If you're a researcher, PhD student, or anyone who needs to stay current with academic literature, you know the struggle: there's an endless stream of papers to read, and never enough time to get through them all.

We built ResearchCast to change that. Our AI-powered platform transforms dense academic papers into engaging podcast-style audio that you can listen to while commuting, exercising, or doing chores.

The Problem We're Solving

The volume of scientific publications has exploded in recent years. Staying on top of your field means spending hours reading papers—time that could be spent on actual research. And let's be honest: not every paper needs a deep, line-by-line reading. Sometimes you just need to understand the key findings and methodology.

Traditional solutions like paper summaries or abstracts help, but they lose nuance and context. Audio, on the other hand, lets you absorb information during time that would otherwise be wasted.

How ResearchCast Works

Our platform offers several podcast formats tailored to different needs:

  • Overview: A quick 5-minute summary hitting the key points—perfect for deciding if a paper deserves a deeper dive.
  • Deep Dive: A comprehensive 15-20 minute exploration of the paper's methodology, findings, and implications.
  • Discussion: A conversational format with two AI hosts debating the paper's merits and limitations.

What's Next

We're just getting started. In the coming months, we'll be adding features like Weekly Digests that automatically curate papers from your favorite arXiv categories, collaborative playlists for research groups, and integration with reference managers.

ResearchCast is currently in beta and completely free to use. We'd love for you to try it out and share your feedback. Together, we can make scientific knowledge more accessible to everyone.
